On July 10th through the 12th, the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America held its 2024 Convocation in Orlando, Florida. Almost 500 members of the Charismatic Episcopal Church from throughout the world joined us in Orlando for this wonderful event. Over the course of the week, we listened the new bishops of the North American CEC preach, we participated in powerful worship and prayer services, and we attended multiple workshops including a CEC For Life workshop with Fr. Terry Gensemer and Christian McGrew.
Fr. Terry and Christian encouraged the audience to continue persevering in the fight for life in various ways and gave updates on CEC For Life’s latest news. Christian updated the audience on the new CEC For Life podcast, which you can watch and listen to on Spotify. Less than a week after the North American convocation Fr. Terry and Patti departed for Europe where they attended the European ICCEC convocation. Fr. Terry and Patti will be traveling throughout Europe leading Pro-Life events and speaking at some of the many CEC churches in Europe.
One of the exciting announcements made at this years convocation was the introduction of a new CEC Young Adults organization, Three Streams Ignited. Last year at the 2023 HOST (Holy Order of Saint Timothy) Convocation, a Young Adults organization of the European ICCEC, young adults from California and I (Christian McGrew) were inspired by the young adults in the CEC in Europe. Christian Harris, Jane House, Emmaline Powers, Michelle Madison and I are very excited to announce that the first Three Streams Ignited (3SI) Conference will take place July 16th-18th 2025 in San Clemente, California. Our mission is to connect and unite young adults across the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America. To inspire, equip and activate young leaders in CEC-NA to bring to light the reality of our wider communion among our young people.
